Biography

Suzanne Reed’s practice focuses on government liability defense and roadway design issues. She brings to Wieneke Law Group a diverse background, encompassing litigation, appeals,  judicial experience, and government service.

Prior to joining WLG, Suzanne served at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor. After successfully handling over 60 felony jury trials and bench trials, she transitioned to the bench, serving as an Administrative Law Judge at the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Executive Hearing Office. In this role, Suzanne presided over thousands of contested civil hearings. She also served as a judge pro tempore for Maricopa County and handled criminal, civil, juvenile, and alternative dispute resolution calendars.

In 2019, Suzanne expanded her expertise by joining the Arizona Supreme Court as a Staff Attorney. There, she contributed to a broad range of legal matters, including petitions for review, special actions, post-conviction relief petitions, rule amendments, and ethics opinions. Her knowledge spans criminal, civil, election law, administrative law, torts, employment, juvenile, family law, probate, and legal ethics.

Returning to litigation in 2024, Suzanne served as Senior Litigation Counsel for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, where she led complex criminal investigations and prosecuted high-stakes fraud cases.

With her unique blend of courtroom experience, judicial insight, and government service, Suzanne is adept at navigating complex legal matters and providing strategic counsel in the public sector.
